Another reading of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Facing political upheaval from the residents of a land forcibly annexed to an empire, yet also threatened by a greater evil that’s lurking beneath the mountains and could expand outward, we must progressively understand the web of interests, ambitions, struggles and past deceptions that have paved the way for a current state of affairs that offers no single positive outcome to any of the parties involved. Whose chains must we break when illegitimate power quarrels with legitimated foreign oppression and the personal drive for power and revenge?
