A traveling troupe of goblin merchants reaches a land and stakes a claim on it, attempting to wrestle it from humans. But the world does not belong to either of them, nor to the warring tribes of trolls who occupy the ruins of temples long gone. In a vale overrun by competing pirates, mystics, sorcerers and smugglers, they who come to conquer and pillage will, sooner or later, disappear and leave ruins behind, more matter for the Stranglethorn to grow on and seeding future conflicts to come.
