Fourth reading – Twilight of Hopes

A reading of Metroid Prime.
Evil must be destroyed But first, it must be found.
Cut off the head of the snake, and the body will die.
But how do we find the head, the source of a problem, when that problem is a slow and long process whereby greed, envy, and ambition steadily grow out of control? The meteor bearing the Phazon may have hit the Chozo’s homeworld of Tallon IV, but it is the Space Pirates’ greed and folly that made it a threat to the galaxy. Incapable of sensing and detecting the dangers, the Chozo lost themselves in conjectures of past, present and possible futures, all equal to their mystic perception, slowly driving them into madness through the anticipated catastrophe.
